You might have been wondering about the name of the blog, its contents, or just wanted to know who is behind this creation. So, here is a little of the story-behind-the-story.
Who is it for?
Take any public relations class and one of the first things you will learn is that you have to know your audience. Well, the content of this blog is intended for public relations professionals, marketers, communications students and anyone else who is interested in shedding the best possible light on your company and its products and services. I work in tech PR, so the topics discussed here are likely to be relevant mostly to technology companies and PR pros, but I am sure others will find this blog useful as well.
Who is behind it? The elevator pitch
My name is Vojtech Horna. I work for Atomic Public Relation in London on multiple tech clients focusing mostly on media and analyst relations. While my focus is tech, the specific focus of my clients varies. They’ve included venture capitalist firms, e-commerce companies, automotive firms, software developers, IT security vendors, SaaS companies, providers of commercial WiFi and more. I am originally from Prague, Czech Republic (you have to come if you haven’t been yet!) where I lived until going to the U.S. to study public relations at the University of Southern California. I have now practiced PR and lived in Prague, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and now I live and work in London at Atomic’s first international office, and the HQ for Europe.
When you don’t see me thinking about PR, you’ll find me traveling, hanging out with my friends, at movies, playing on my new Xbox or reading a book on my Kindle.
